ZigRay™ Demo Kit

Wireless Data
Demonstration Kit

The ZigRay Demo Kit includes two Demo boards and two ZigRay™ 802.15.4 wireless transceivers. The Demo boards provide switches, LEDs, RS-232 and USB connectivity.
The ZigRay™ Demo Kit includes everything needed to demonstrate a two-node IEEE 802.15.4 wireless network. A wireless UART application utilizing MAC software is pre-installed on the ZigRay™ transceivers. In addition to the wireless UART, the switches on one device can be used to control the LEDs on the other device.

Each Demo board includes the following:

  • Two momentary pushbuttons
  • Two slide switches
  • Four LEDs
  • Jumper to enable / disable Power Amplifer (PA)
  • Jumper to enable / disable Low Noise Amplifier (LNA)
  • Low noise voltage regulator
  • Power switch (battery or USB power)
  • Battery holder (requires 3 AAA batteries)
  • Analog temperature sensor
  • Potentiometer (simulates analog sensor)
  • RS-232 port with a female DB9 connector
  • USB port with an industry standard B-type connector
  • BDM programming connector (used to program the ZigRay™ transceiver)

Two Demo Kits are available. One includes two Demo boards with ZigRay™ transceivers installed. The other adds two polycarbonate enclosures. A CD containing additional hardware and software documentation is also provided.

Tecnova offers product design and development, and can design a custom solution to meet OEM-specific requirements.
