Tecnova

The NI Alliance Program grows and succeeds only when program members look beyond corporate walls and contribute to the larger community.  Tecnova participates in a variety of NI-specific and industry forums, training sessions, and competitions.  Individual team members are encouraged to attend and present at regional seminars, trade shows, and NIWeek.

Several team members also assist with the Northern Illinois LabVIEW User Group and at a personal level with educational events.  These efforts are aimed at increasing awareness and interest of engineering as a career path, the test and measurement industry, and having fun while solving complex problems with National Instruments and LabVIEW.

National Instruments Certified Professional Instructors

Two Tecnova LabVIEW team members routinely teach regional LabVIEW courses for National Instruments.

National Instruments Developer Communities

Tecnova team members routinely answer questions, solve problems, and contribute to NI Developer Zone and NI Community sites.

Certified LabVIEW Architect and Certified Professional Instructor, Mark Balla, was awarded LabVIEW Champion status in July 2010. He was featured in a web article and the Q3-2010 Instrumentation Newsletter.

LAVA (LabVIEW Advanced Virtual Architects

The LAVA site is a 100% community driven place to post comments, suggest ideas, and share LabVIEW code.

Northern Illinois LabVIEW User Group

The Northern Illinois User Group web site is hosted by Tecnova. Team members routinely attend and contribute content which is shared with other LabVIEW users throughout the region.

FIRST Robotics Competition

Tecnova also provides funding and individual resources contribute their time and talents toward FIRST Robotics Competition. FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a nonprofit organization inspiring young people to be science and technology leaders. Tecnova is a proud co-sponsor of Mundelein High School Team 2115 (Mundelein, IL) ... the Suburbots.
