Automated Test – National Instruments Alliance - Certifications & Training
The best National Instruments solution providers hire and retain engineering and developer resources with diverse knowledge from varied backgrounds and industries. Tecnova offers individuals with electrical and mechanical backgrounds and over 60 years combined test, measurement, and automation experience – in the top tier of Alliance Partners.
It is important to recognize that NI certifies individuals, not companies. Tecnova supports the growth of each member of our development teams through the NI certification process. Each Tecnova Developer has obtained industry-recognized credentials that distinguish expertise using NI products. Each individual is re-certified every two years. As seen below, there are no “junior-level developers” in our team:
DEVELOPER |
CERTIFICATION LEVEL |
EXPERTISE |
Mark, Dennis |
|
This highest level of certification requires mastery in architecting and managing large projects. CLAs develop VI hierarchies, project plans, and coding structures used in multi‑developer LabVIEW teams. |
Jeff, Andy, Michael |
|
CLDs demonstrate proficiency in developing medium‑to‑large applications with adherence to accepted coding style and documentation. They provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure best practices are followed. |
None |
|
This entry-level credential certifies broad understanding of LabVIEW core features and functionality. CLADs can read, interpret, and modify LabVIEW code and often support design efforts overseen by a CLD or CLA. |
All National Instruments Alliance Partners at the Certified Partner level must maintain one CLD or CLA on staff. Tecnova engineers go above and beyond this minimum requirement to ensure that every project is successfully completed by qualified, accountable personnel. Not all Alliance Partners can make this claim of their staff.
Further, both Mark and Michael hold National Instruments Certified Professional Instructor credentials, teaching entry level, intermediate, and advanced LabVIEW training courses throughout the Midwest.
CPIs are the only professionals authorized to teach NI courses.
