    Career Description

    Tecnova Electronics is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer who is responsible for verifying and validating products for manufacturability. Interface with all departments in analyzing documentation and bills of material for new and existing projects. Provide support to production and assist with problem resolution.

    Responsibilities

    • Review and control customer documentation for quoting
    • Verify product design for manufacturability
    • Work with Customers and Production in transitioning new projects into first-run production 
    • Create and maintain all components within the Tecnova part number database including attributes and RoHS status
    • Create, verify and clarify Bill of Materials. Includes researching parts and developing manufacturer cross references
    • Create, implement, and control manufacturing documentation including work instructions for production
    • Analyze, document, and implement corrections for process and product failures
    • Generate and maintain programs for the Automated Optical Inspection and In-Circuit Testing equipment 

    Requirements

    Applicants must meet the following criteria:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
    • 3-5 years engineering experience in an electronics manufacturing environment
    • Experience with an ERP system preferred
    • Experienced with multi-level BOM structure
    • Experienced in AutoCAD, SolidWorks and Visio preferred
    • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, electronic and instrumentation applications
    • Excellent organizational skills, problem solving techniques and accuracy are essential

    Candidates must have the ability to:

    • Communicate well
    • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize duties
    • Comprehend and perform duties in accordance with an ISO9001 Quality System
    • Lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Distinguish colors, fine circuit detail and tone
