    Career Description

    Tecnova Electronics is seeking an experienced Inventory Supervisor who will monitor all aspects of inventory control and warehouse functions.

    Responsibilities 

    • Assign tasks, train, and supervise inventory personnel
    • Work closely with Planner, Production Supervisors, and Customer Service to ensure high level of service
    • Coordinate work order kit pulls and expedite work flow to meet the production schedule
    • Responsible for inventory accuracy including maintaining a cycle count program, analyzing transactions, and solving problems
    • Establish and revise work instructions as needed for department improvements while complying with ISO9001 requirements
    • Assist or act as backup to any Warehouse position, as needed
    • Study records and recommend action for reported non-usable, slow moving, and excess stock
    • Responsible for maintaining continuous housekeeping process

    Requirements

    Applicants must meet the following criteria:

    • Requires High School diploma
    • Associates degree in business or equivalent, preferred
    • Requires some supervisory experience
    • Requires minimum 2+ years inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment
    • Requires knowledge of manufacturing and inventory transactions, including MRP requirements
    • Requires ability to read and interpret transaction histories to find errors
    • Requires thorough understanding of picking/kitting and issuing material to work orders
    • Requires intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Excel
    • Requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Knowledge of electronic components, SMT and through hole operations, preferred
    • Knowledge of various carrier services and packaging skills required
    • Excellent organizational skills, problem solving techniques, and accuracy are required
    • Must be able to speak and read English fluently, and effectively
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
