    Description

    Tecnova Electronics Inc. is seeking a self-motivated Electronic Technician who can perform testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic and mechanical assemblies.  Position includes interfacing with customers.

    Candidates must have the ability to:

    • Test and repair complex analog and digital printed circuit boards and assemblies
    • Troubleshooting down to component-level and repairing nonconforming material
    • Soldering and de-soldering of components on surface mount and through hole circuit board assemblies
    • Customer technical support
    • Analyzing process problems and testing processes for improvement
    • Comprehend and perform duties in accordance with an ISO9001 Quality System

    Requirements

    Applicants must meet the following criteria:

    • Associate Degree in Electronics
    • 3+ years technician experience in an electronics manufacturing environment
    • Knowledge of IPC and Certification in soldering, preferred
    • Knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting, preferred
    • Knowledge of digital and analog electronic circuitry
    • Knowledge of troubleshooting procedures
    • Ability to read and comprehend technical documentation
    • Contribute and work in a team environment
    • Distinguish colors, fine circuit detail, and tones
    • Excellent organizational skills, problem solving techniques, and accuracy
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Must be able to manually lift up to 30 pounds
