Tecnova believes that selecting a solution provider should not introduce additional risk into your project.  We take the time to discuss and fully understand each project opportunity and deliver complete solutions.

• We work with our customers to understand each project requirement.
• Engineering change orders are sometimes necessary, but Tecnova does not rely on them to complete projects.
• The intent of a project is often as important as the written specification.
• Tecnova does not “low ball” project Proposals because of TBD requirements.
• We work with customers to:
• Discuss project intent,
• Agree upon reasonable assumptions,
• Provide pricing and durations that can reasonably be expected for successful project completion.
• A full and honest assessment of project risks, assumptions, and exclusions is provided in each Tecnova Proposal.

Some competitors:

• Bid to specification without regard to TBDs or project intent.
• This can lead to excessive engineering change orders as new details are discovered.
• There is a higher probability for out-of-scope cost and duration overruns.
• Maintain only the minimum National Instruments certification for the Alliance Member program.
• Only one Certified LabVIEW Developer or Certified LabVIEW Architect is required on-staff to maintain good standing in the program.
• Junior-level or uncertified engineers perform the majority of the work.

• Safety, robustness, and long-term maintenance may not be considered.
• LabVIEW coding standards may not be employed.
• Retain all or a portion of intellectual property ownership and may charge royalties for duplication.
• Lock portions of source code or do not deliver ALL source code.

Tecnova:

• Does not lock or disable source code.
• Delivers ALL source code – unlocked and enabled.
• LabVIEW templates, architectures, subVIs.
• Code developed by Tecnova outside of the customer project.
• Project-specific code developed for the customer project.
• External libraries, configuration files, drivers, etc…
• Manages projects with senior-level engineers and developers.
• All LabVIEW developers are certified at the Developer or Architect level.
• Safety, robustness, and long term maintenance are considered in every phase of design.
• LabVIEW coding standards are carefully considered and implemented.
• Customers retain ownership of intellectual property.
• Free to use and reuse without royalties.
• Free to customize in-house.
